Suzuki released the GSX-S 1000, first ever litre-class naked motorcycle in India. The GSX-S 1000 looks like a sports bike since it has limited bodywork. The powerful tank is flanked by jagged airflow scoops that seem to borrow from the Japanese vendor's classic design philosophy. To optimise loading and riding dynamics, the GSX-S 1000's 4 into 2 into 1 air intake is midship while the rear is clean and simple. GSX-R 1000's 999cc 4-cylinder powers the GSX-S 1000. The throttle response and acceleration of this engine have indeed been modified to improve the GSX-S 1000's usability and practicality. A 6-speed close-ratio transmission drives the engine's 145bhp. Showa back monoshock and 43mm KYB bent front forks support the GSX-S 1000. Front and rear brakes are 310mm twin discs.
