The Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been a long-seller for the Pune-based automaker's Pulsar series since it began in November 2001. The Pulsar 180 and its smaller twin were a big surprise for the Indian market, which had only had commuter motorcycles and the Hero Honda CBZ in the 150cc and above segment up until that point. Its sleek design and many modern features added to the demand for high-end commuter bikes and put the bike on a path to go down in history. Over the years, Bajaj has made small changes to the look of the Pulsar 180. These include a semi-digital instrument console, an aircraft-style fuel tank lid, an LED tail lamp, a step-seat design, and new colour schemes with decals. Now, since sales of the 180 have been going down, Bajaj has given the Pulsar 180 the fairing from the 220F and called it the Pulsar 180F. With the new name comes the 220F fairing, projector headlights, and two-piece handlebars. It also has a matte metallic colour with the option of orange, red, or grey highlights that stand out. The Pulsar 180F has the same single-cylinder, 178cc engine, but it now has fuel injection and meets BS6 standards. It has 17bhp of power and 14Nm of torque, and its gearbox has five speeds. Twin spark ignition, telescopic forks, gas-charged rear suspension, and disc brakes at both ends are all standard features. Bajaj put a single-channel ABS on the Pulsar 180F.

Performance
The Pulsar 180F is still powered by the tried-and-true 178.6cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine, which in its new BS6 form puts out 17.02PS and 14.52Nm. Since fuel injection has been added, the peak torque has gone up by 0.32 Nm. The five-speed gearbox has not been changed.

Bajaj Auto took the semi-covered Pulsar 180F off of its India website. Several of our dealer sources have told us that the motorcycle may no longer be made. The company has not confirmed. The return of the Pulsar 180 without a fairing supports our idea that Bajaj will stop making the Pulsar F. In February 2019, India came out with the Bajaj Pulsar 180F. It looks like the well-known Pulsar 220F. The Bajaj 180F may have been based on this design. But because more people wanted the naked Pulsar 180, Bajaj brought it back. The only difference between the Pulsar 180 with a fairing and the one without is how they look. The bikes have a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 178.6cc engine that makes 16.7bhp and 14.52Nm and has a five-speed transmission. 17-inch alloy wheels are held up by telescoping forks and two shock absorbers. Bike looks the same as 220f.
Bike looks the same as 220f. The average fuel economy is easily 45 or more. Less money spent on repairs. And there's no problem taking it on long rides of 500 to 1000 miles. At first, I thought it was a mistake to buy this instead of the 220, but now I see that it has everything and gets better fuel mileage.
