Bajaj Auto has introduced the BS6-compliant Pulsar 180 naked roadster to the Indian market. The updated model is the same in terms of how it works as the Pulsar 180F Neon. So, the naked roadster is powered by a 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 16.7bhp at 8,500rpm and 14.52Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. A five-speed transmission is connected to the engine.
Style cues include a single-pod headlight with two DRLs and a tinted visor at the front, a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, an engine cowl, split-style seats, and a two-piece pillion grab rail. The latest semi-digital instrument cluster is in the cockpit. As part of its new Dagger Edge edition series, the Pulsar 180 comes in three colours: red, white, and black. The stickers on these are smooth and angular, and their colours are different from the base paint job.
The cycle parts are also similar to the Pulsar 180F. The front suspension is done by telescopic forks, and the back suspension is done by fuel twin springs. The front brake has a single disc that is 280mm and the back brake has a single rotor that is 230mm. For safety, there is a single-channel ABS.
The new Pulsar 180 BS6 competes with bikes like the Honda Hornet 2.0 and the TVS Apache RTR 180.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 Features
Bajaj Pulsar 180
Even though Bajaj re-released the Pulsar 180 model in February, the price has gone up to Rs 1,09,651. (ex-showroom). The new sticker price is still about Rs 5,000 less than the Pulsar 180F, which was taken off the market shortly after the naked was released. The half-fairing version of Pulsar never sold well, and with the recent price changes, it was getting quite expensive. So, it made sense for Bajaj to bring back the naked at a lower price and keep the model going. The Pulsar 220F is still the only one in the family that is only half-covered.
Max torque
The engine that powers the Bajaj Pulsar 180 14.52 Nm @ 6500 rpm with the updated model is the same in terms of how it works as the Pulsar 180F Neon. So, the naked roadster is powered by a 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 16.7bhp at 8,500rpm and 14.52Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. A five-speed transmission is connected to the engine.
Performance
With a 5-speed transmission, it puts out 17.02PS at 8,500rpm and 14.52Nm at 6,500rpm. To keep costs down, Bajaj put an electronic carburetor on the motorcycle instead of a fuel injection system. The Pulsar 180 is built on the same frame as the Bajaj Pulsar 180.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 News
Bajaj Pulsar 180 discontinued in India
The Pulsar 180 was no longer made by Bajaj Auto India. Our dealer sources tell us that they don't get any more bikes and that production stopped a few months ago. Possible reasons for the withdrawal are low demand and the need to make room for newer Pulsar models. The Pulsar 180 came out in February 2021, after the 180cc Pulsar 220F was taken off the market. It looks like the Pulsar 150, but the colours are different. The old Pulsar 180 cost Rs 1.17 lakh when it left the showroom. The 178.6cc DTSI engine in the Pulsar 180 is cooled by air and makes 16.76bhp and 14.52Nm. Gearbox with five speeds. Motorcycles have 15-litre gas tanks and weigh 151 kg. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, two springs, and five different ways to change the preload. Both ends are stopped by a single-channel ABS.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 Expert Opinion
In the competitive Indian two-wheeler market, the Bajaj Pulsar 180 is the perfect companion for buyers who want a high-quality commuter bike. It is India's first sports bike, and people signed up for it right away. The bike is now being sold with both new looks and new technology. It comes with a new, better engine that is BS-IV compliant and better for the environment. It has 17.02PS of power and 14.22Nm of torque, which is very fast. The bike has smarter electronics that make the power flow more smoothly and give a strong response to the throttle. Even though it has better performance, the company says it still gets 45Kmpl of fuel economy. Most of the parts of the newer version are the same as those of the Pulsar 150, which is the younger sibling. Aside from the shared parts, the bike has a split rear grab rail, wider tyres, an option for a rear disc brake, and a brand-new Black Pack colour scheme that makes it look more expensive than ever. A 3D logo imprint, attractive alloy wheels, a domed cover, and a semi-digital instrument cluster are some of the other parts. It only weighs 1 kg more than the Pulsar 150, which makes it easy to drive in cities with lots of traffic and also in straight lines. There is still no ABS, and the front and back disc brakes are still used to keep people safe. The price of the new Bajaj Pulsar 180 is INR 81,650.

The bike looks just like the 220F.
The bike looks just like the 220f. The average fuel economy is easily 45 or more. Less money spent on repairs. And there's no problem taking it on long rides of 500 to 1000 miles. At first, I thought it was a mistake to buy this instead of the 220, but now I see that it has everything and gets better fuel mileage.
SonuThe all-around bike that can be used on a variety of terrains
The all-around bike that can be used on a variety of terrains. Be it smooth road or zig zag himalaya. It does what it needs to do. You can feel the power in your hand and in your mind. Service and maintenance are not too expensive. It has the best riding experience in the segment. I like this bike better for a trip around India.
