By introducing three new dual-tone colours, Bajaj has given its baby Dominar 250 a new appearance. The most appealing aspect of the new colours? You are not required to pay any additional fees. True, it costs Rs 1,54,176 , the same as the other basic colours. The price of the Dominar 250 was reduced by almost Rs 16,000 to make it a more appealing package, particularly in comparison to the Suzuki Gixxer 250. Visit this page to see the new colours.
(1) Bajaj Dominar 250 Engine
The KTM 250 Duke-derived engine has been modified to generate 27PS at 8500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6500rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The volume of the fuel tank stays constant at 13 litres. The 37mm USD fork on the quarter-litre Dominar is smaller than the 43mm unit on its larger sister. The same rear monoshock remains. It employs a smaller 300mm front disc and the same 230mm rear disc. Currently, the swingarm is a box-section unit. The tyres are also somewhat narrower than those of the Dominar 400, with front 100-section and rear 130-section radials.
(1) Bajaj Dominar 250 Design
The Dominar 250 may feature the same bodywork and similar features as the Dominar 400, but it gets a couple of dual-tone shade as well as a red colour option to differentiate itself from its elder sibling. Other noticeable differences include skinners 37mm forks, a slimmer rear bias-ply tyre, box-section swingarm, and a smaller 300mm rotor at the front.
(2) Bajaj Dominar 250 Features
The Dominar 250 is featured with all-around LED lighting, a twin-barrel exhaust, a perimeter frame, and bungee straps behind the seat. However, Bajaj has taken a few shortcuts. For example, the 250 has a tank-mounted console with indicator lights from the previous generation Dominar. Consequently, it lacks additional amenities such as an immediate fuel economy display and a gear position indication. To save expenses, the 400cc's two-tone alloy wheels have been replaced with matte black wheels with a plain finish.

Bajaj Dominar 250 Expert Opinion
The last major update before the switch to BS6 made the Bajaj Dominar 400 a complete product. The power bump makes it easier to drive on the highway, and the changes to the suspension improve the overall riding experience. When you add some features, you have a bike that, in theory, should be hard to turn down. It's definitely better than its predecessor, but it's missing one important thing: a clear goal. Is it a sport-touring car? Well, the engine feels too crazy no matter how fast it goes. Is it a sailboat? The motor feels pretty rough. The fact that its price is Rs 1,94,751 (thanks to constant price hikes) also leaves a big gap between the Pulsar NS200 and the Dominar 400.
Here comes in the smaller Dominar 250. It was designed not only to fill this gap but also to compete in the quarter-liter segment, which is seeing a sudden rise in demand. It's a smaller, friendlier package that costs Rs 1.6 lakh, which may appeal to enthusiasts on a budget. So, was Bajaj's risk worth it?
