Seating and leg space in the SR150 were never its strong points. It might be fine for a shorter rider, but anyone over six feet tall will find it very tight. The SR150 isn't exactly a shopper's best friend, and it doesn't help that it has a bad reputation for being unreliable. The front hook can hold a few bags, and the small space under the seat can hold at most a 14-inch laptop and a few personal items.

In 2019, nothing on the SR150's feature list changed. The air-cooled, 154cc, motor and CVT transmission are both still there. Also, the output has remained unchanged at 10.25 horsepower and 11.4 Nm of torque. The exhaust noise and engine feel have been modified. A lot of the roughness and gritiness from the original model has been taken out of the newer version. Handlebar vibrations are noticeable at lower speeds but diminish at higher RPMs. The SR150 has excellent stopping power, and the addition of single-channel ABS for 2019 makes it even safer. The brakes have great bite and feedback, the ABS unit isn't as intrusive or forceful as other systems, and they stop the scooter quickly and smoothly.

In addition to a redesigned semi-digital instrument cluster, the 2019 Aprilia SR150 adds single-channel ABS. In addition to the traditional analogue speedometer, this device also features a clock, two trip computers, a fuel gauge, and an odometer. We appreciated the cluster's athletic layout, but think it would look better with white backlighting instead of the orange used now. The SR150's halogen headlamp is insufficient for nighttime driving. A switch to LED lights, which will likely be included in the next update, will suffice.
